Terms of service

Effective 8 October 2026 · version 1.0

Draft, not yet legal advice. These terms describe what the software actually does today, verified against the running code. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer for your specific legal position, and the operator's legal identity and country of establishment are still being confirmed. Both gaps must be closed before publication.

By creating an account, or by using the app, the website, or the Telegram bot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

1. Who runs this

Companion for Drivers is an independent product operated by an individual developer. The exact legal identity, business form, and country of establishment have not yet been finalised and must be filled in here before publication.

These terms are between you and that operator. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.

2. What the service is

The service shows ride-hailing drivers in Wrocław the recorded operating conditions of their city: the live surge map, arrival waves at the airport and main railway station, and the driver's own recorded history by day, street, and hour.

It is an informational tool. It is not a booking service, not a dispatch service, and not a financial product. It does not place fares, assign drivers, or accept passengers.

3. What it does not promise

This section is the most important one. Please read it before relying on anything the app shows.

4. Using the service while driving

Do not interact with the app while you are driving. Reading and responding to anything on a screen costs attention you are giving to the road.

Plan before you start, or during a break. The information stays available when you are stopped. Nothing in the service justifies looking at a screen while the vehicle is moving.

You remain responsible for obeying the driving and working time rules that apply to you, including any limit on hours and mandatory rest. The service never advises you to exceed a limit, and following it does not excuse you from one. Take the rest you are required to take, and take more when you are tired.

5. Your account

Access is by application and is reviewed by a person. You may not share, resell, or transfer an account, and you may not let anyone else use your sign-in code.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in code to yourself. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has used it.

You must be legally able to work as a driver where you are, and you must hold any licence or permit your work requires.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Changes to the service

The service is provided as it is. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We aim to tell you about changes that affect how you use it, and to give you reasonable notice before a significant withdrawal, but we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its name, its design, and its code belong to the operator. Surge data collected by the operator, and the recorded daily history derived from it, belong to the operator.

You keep ownership of what you write to us. You grant the operator only the limited right needed to operate the service, which includes displaying your feedback to you and using it to fix faults.

9. Third-party names

Companion for Drivers is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Bolt or any other ride-hailing, mapping, or transport platform. Company and product names shown in the service, including any that appear in data feeds, belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the source of the data.

Use of the service does not create any relationship with those companies.

10. AI features

Parts of the service use artificial intelligence models made by third parties, currently Anthropic's Claude.

What AI is used for today: translating beta applications so they can be reviewed, and searching the public web for city events.

What AI is not used for: deciding where you drive, recommending a route, or producing any earnings figure. Model output is checked against recorded data before anything is shown to you.

Accuracy. AI output can be wrong. Where a model's output is shown, it is labelled as such and checked before use. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for a decision.

If planning features are released later, they will be described here before they are switched on, including exactly what information is sent to a model.

11. Ending your account

You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time, at no cost, and it will be deleted along with your personal data as described in the privacy notice.

We may suspend or close an account if it is used to break these terms, if it is compromised, or if keeping it active would create a legal or safety

problem. Where a suspension is temporary, we will say why and for how long.

12. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied warranty, except where such exclusion is not permitted.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings, lost fares, or lost opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

If you rely on the service to make a working decision and lose earnings as a result, our liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which is currently nothing because the service is free, and one hundred euro.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable in the operator's country of establishment, which has not yet been confirmed. Where you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country, and you keep the benefit of any such protection.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms: message us on Telegram.

A postal address for formal correspondence must be added here once the operator's registered address is confirmed.
